Hi guys,
My name is Dan, Im pretty new to the tropical fish owning scene but have owned a couple of goldfish over time!
At the moment I have a basic 13litre tank with an Interpet Heater and Cheapo Filter. So far I have a few Guppies and a Kuhli Loach that I got from pets at home but they wont be mine for very long as I am selling the whole lot to my brother who wants some small fish and a nice tank.
I joined this site because I need a bit of guidance on owning a tropical fish tank as regards to what to do and when to do it haha!
Im looking at getting a new tank soon (A bigger one) and getting some nice colourful fish to go in it.
Im not sure what tank to get and what fish to get and also I dont have a clue where to get them (good website etc)
Hopefully you can all show me the way

i think you should deffinately surf through the newbie section for a while and have a look at some fish types that you like and then you can see what there tank requirements and tank mates can be e.t.c. remember reaserch is your greatest resource
. Also i'm no expert but i think kuhli loaches need to be in groups of at least three and grow to be 10cm long so you may want to warn your brother he could need a bigger tank. Also read up on fishless cycling. Have fun and merry fishkeeping
