..) and since then (two days) they seem to be coming back.. but i honestly don't understand what lighting i should be using.. i'm very new as well. i got into gardening and it some how ended up here.. wanting an aquatic garden... LOL. what have i gotten into? any help is appreciated! i have a topic about it somewhere with some pics and more info if it helps.

I agree with previous postings. To me, I've always looked at co2 as the line between someone that is all about the plants and someone that has a planted tank for fish.

I have a fairly low tech setup, my lighting is good, and I dose seachem flourish weekly. Even with this, I am still trimming a lot of my plants every week at water change. I can only imagine how they would grow if I added in co2!

But, you can make some truly wondrous aquascapes with co2 and the right plants!

i use the weekly and the co2 liquid. and it was going great. lots of growth, getting to propagate new babies... but now, i have stunted stubby little guys LOL. working on getting back to its liking. only thing i can figure was changing the bulb... but either way, what it was before couldn't have been right either...

and i do love the fishes, but it started and comes back to the plants
