New Walstad Tank

Hi All!

I've just set up my first ever Walstad Method tank! Just planning on shrimp and snails in this small guy, but I've just installed the plants today and it's quite murky. I'm assuming mostly it's because any extra sediment from the potting soil used for this method (under substrate) hasn't settled yet, but please let me know if this is abnormal/any tips you have for my journey in Walstad-ing!!

I'm just about to set up one of these too. I think you can do a few water changes at the beginning to clear up the water then just top off water when it evaporates from then onwards. Keen to see how your one turns out!
