hello there, whispering pixie or lainey i really don't mind.
i currently have a jewel rio 300,and it houses a pair of angels,a couple of bristlenoses
5 clown loaches(inch) 5 tiger barbs,6 gupys,9 serpae tetra,8 neon tetra.
i'm looking for stocking ideas still,as i'm growing the tank slowly,it's planted
a little(i have the worst green fingers ever) and fake plants(don't groan to loud please

i've kept fish over the years, and some i can not keep alive for the life of me
rams to name one, i've not long lost a beautiful pair, and i swear never to try again,
it beaks my heart.
so here i am,not sure what i can bring to the table, apart from being another fish
enthusiast…with no money

Welcome to the forum Lainey, and welcome to the life of spending all of your money.

Out of curiosity, how attached are you to the stocking plan you have, as I can see some big spends coming up in your future if you try to keep that lot? You're going to need a couple of very good sized (and for the clown loaches, that would mean properly big, they'll grow to 12 inches each relatively quickly given a chance, and are prone to getting ich if conditions don't follow their needs as they grow) tanks in the near future to keep that little selection healthy in the longer term. Small shoals of tigers can get, well, tiger like, as they mature, particularly with fish with trailing fins, such as angels and guppies.

Sorry for your loss on the rams. The non bolivian type can be fairly fickle about water conditions, although they are very pretty. They're still on my to do list (I've been meaning to pick some up for a few years but there have never been any good ones in when I had the chance to house them) and may well be on my next set up list when I clear my larger cichlids.

hi Rob,thanks for the welcome.
i'm always open to advise….would be a numpty otherwise
what would you recommend ?

Personally, I'd find a new home for the clowns, either a 6-8 foot tank at home or back to the LFS. The tigers, ideally, wouldn't be in with a fish like an angel, they'll eventually harass them to death or push it too far and one of the angels will take it on themselves to eradicate the problem. Neons and angels are slightly risky, as they're of the correct size to be a good food source for a fully grown angel, depends on the temperament of your individual angels whether or not you'll get away with it.
