Ok, i got the api master today, tested post water change, medication and plant food and got 2.0 on ammonia.
Tested again an 3 hours later and it was down to 1.0
I just realised what it was, the plant food i am using has a non toxic form of ammonia in it that the test kit picks up as proper ammonia.
I'm so stupid lol!
