hiya brewyn nice to see ya back . can feel the need to pay a visit to southport soon as our supply of malawis in stockport is not so brill. any suggestions on where to go ???
and fiesta these guys arnt having a go at you just trying to give some very good advice.

Before you trawl all the way over this way to Southport, can I suggest this place: -

Oasis Aquarium, 8 Great Clowes St, Salford, Lancashire M7 1RE. Tel: 0161 832 5836

Cracking store with plenty of selection of all types of fish from your common tropicals to Malawis, to marines and inverts

Staff are reliable and clued up too.

yup no one meant to be offensive mate, but blatently lying is always gonna get people's back's up.

Loads of shops with lie to you to get a sale, think we've all had it before, no harm admitting you made a mistake and taking advice. People on here like mamfish, tanks a lot and brewyn (to name just a few!) really know they're stuff and would be happy to help you out if you just ask the questions and are willing to take a bit of friendly advice. I've been keeping fish for 5 yrs and have learnt more in the 3/4 months I've been coming on here than before that, hopefully I can help people out a bit too. I listened to people on here and ended up with a huge 80g tank for some of my fish, was a bit wary cos it was a lot of money but it's bloomin gorgeous and I'm chuffed to bits with it, just chill and research your options and fish properly

Miss WIGGLE, speak for yourself, I know nothing LOL, mark addmittadly has suprised me with his rescent identifications he does appear to have come along way in such a short time,( I take my hat off to you mate, well done) with regards to the fish store that sold fiesta these fish, sarah remembers him well, he was in again yesterday wanting to know what goes with what!!!! she found the whole thing amusing and said she was under the impression that he had a much bigger tank, she did think the kribbs were American LOL.

WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES, I now have 3 red tail catfish, THATS A HUGE ERROR ON MY BEHALF.
And tanks keeps keeping all these baby labs and thinking he's going to supply worl wide LOL

This Fiesta guy reminds me of me when I first started out, but trust me mate, it's for your own good and your fishes good. I started out with 2 black moores in a 3 gallon tank, and I got rid of the black moores and have an overstocked (but well looked after) community tank. Just respect the guys here and they will respect you, if I didn't come on here i'd still have a 3 gallon with the 2 black moores and probably more fish in it still. I've gone from a fish is just something you eat to a fish nerd...

I had read this post before, but I missed this part!!!!

For your information brewyn, not only am I going to supply the world with labs, I am planning to take over the world with labs. Starting with Liverpool!!! My lab arm is now 36 fish strong, they just need another couple of months to mature, but then!!! you will be sorry.

He's not had egg on his face, he's just learnt a valuable lesson to be honest, you never know what, or who, is around the corner. he,s welcome to come see my tanks if he wishes to PM me.


and tanks, bring em on, nothing breeds in my tanks, and if they do!!!!! well, there in for one tought ride with the predatory fish I have. LOL

PS, did like the bunk bed idea but its taken me long enough to get the kids one, let alone the fish lol
