With my hopes high, I plan on getting a new 20 Gallon next week. I have only had experience with my lovely comet, so I don't know what to get for new fish.

Hope someone has advice!

Oh ya - I've been using the Biowheel for the past year. Should I steer clear of the UGF and do the hanging filter?

By UGF I am assuming your talking about undergravel filter (sorry still don't know all the lingo). Undergravel filters are not very good in my opinion, they take a lot of work and generally don't work as well other types of filters. Many here swear by the biowheel ( I haven't tried it but it sounds great), I would get one if I was getting a new tank.

I agree with guppymonkey, I've heard really great things about Biowheels - if your experiences have also been good then I'd say stick with it.

So what are you after in your 20 gallon? Peaceful community tank? Livebearers? Schooling fish? How about a school of pretty tetras like glowlights or neons or cardinals or rummy noses? And some guppies?
