New Tank

I use glass canopies and my lights would heat the tank up during the day but not the night. So I added some hotter grow bulbs to the fuge that run at night and they helped stabalize the temp swing some. A friend in the reef club where I am a member did this after his MHs would swing his temp 3-4 degrees during the day and it worked like a charm. I just incorporated it, but its not as severe as I only run PC lighting.

I understand now, power compact lighitng can be a surprise to a lot of people. Power Compacts are the most inefficient, hot running, short lifespand fluorescents used in this hobby. That's why I got rid of mine and went with T5 bulbs running off of Ice Cap Ballasts.
