The plan is to get alot more plants, get 2 36inch t5 lights setup.
Get 5-6 silver dollars, a shovel nose catfish, pleco of some sort and move my senegal bichir to this tank when it's big enough not to be eaten:D

Lovely tank mate, alot of people are having theirs made by ND lately.
:good:
ND are pretty cheap , got it delivered just over a week after i requested it , suprisingly well made cabinet as well. Best thing is the size's, i was restricted to 4foot of space, most i would get out a branded tank is most likely a 240litre if lucky, this is over 500litre:D

yeah, its a pity aquarium manufacturers dont start making deeper tanks rather than tall!

looking good

tanks that are tall and wide look so much better when decent sized fish in, your oscar will love it

Nelly , there is substrate in the pics with the oscar and bichir :good: takes ages to wash the sand so left it until i had a few hours to spare. The FX5 is awsome , suprisingly quiet. Mite be adding a fluval 305 external as well as i have one spare.

Will look loads better when theres a little more to it. I'm haning on for full size silver dollar's so it won't look as bare when i get them . Get my Surobim Lima in the next month hopefully should be big enough to go straight in this tank:).

I'm having some issues with the glare on the glass even when i turn of all the lights and draw the curtains so might move it when i get time .

full size silver dollars are the ideal active fish in a tank like that, someones just called me to give me 4 more I have 8 at the moment and they are great fish

Well managed to find some decent sized silver dollars. Think they're the spotted ones?Metynnis lippincottianus? hmmm maybe not actually, not overaly sure as they have spots on their fins not on theirt main body . either way they're silver dollars:)

I got 6 , 5 are in the photo the other one is behind the plants.

Any ideas on how to get things like lettuce to sink for them? or will they take it from the surface?

looking good so far! love the delhezi!
i would choose wild oscars over any other, they are much better looking! good choice!
i like the look of a shoal of silver dollars, would have some myself but tank is full of plants and wouldn't appreciate them being eaten! lol

i think a nice white snakehead would look good in there!!............... hehe
