Morning all,

Has anyone else received the new February edition of the PFK magazine?

There is a section in this latest edition where Jeremy Gay creates a new scape using the new Hagen Osaka tank and the wood he uses for this is a new type of 'branchy' bogwood but I can't remember the name of it?
All that I can remember is that it starts with an 'S'.

I am at work at the moment so can't have a look in my issue so would be grateful if someone on here can provide the name of it.

Many thanks.

Redmoor, or Unipac, I use Unipac so compare the 2, If it looks like mine Its unipacs if its not its something else entirely.
Sorry I don't have the feb issue yet.

Then it's the unipac stuff, It's pretty cheap, just make sure you hide the cut edges when planting.

It was George Farmers Chocolate Gourami setup, he also has some photo's on the forum available and details on how he set it up

I've ordered some pieces online after seeing the artical in PFK.

Hopefully, they'll turn up soon and will let you know that they look like.

I've ordered 2x Medium and 2x Large.

Where did you order it from?

Follow this link and it'll show you to two product they offer.

I had a right problem to find them as if you notice 'driftwood' isn't spelt properly so didn't come up on google. That is the only online store I could find on the planet!

I've never ordered from onlineaquariumstore.com before so don't know how quickly they send out and haven't received an email saying the items have been dispatched but only did order very late Monday evening so prob won't turn up to early next week (fingers crossed).

I was going to get some of that wood from there, but it's very expensive with p&p -_-

Ahh last time I ordered from online aquarium store I gave up waiting after 3 weeks and took a further 2 weeks to get my money back :/ Cheap prices, shame about the postage

I'm interested to see what the wood looks like/size etc as I think the branchy type wood looks great and I very rarely see it in lfs's. Get some photos posted here of it when you get it SFK :good:

I bought a nice small piece a couple of weeks ago from my local lf's for my 5 gallon nano planted tank project, took ages for it to sink though, a lot longer than bogwood does.

But it looks great, just wish I could have bought the bigger piece as it had some really contorted branches on it.

Soon as I get it I'll take some photos.

If I've got any spare going, I'll happily send it to a worthy cause if someone's willing to make a donation for postage and extra to charity.

That's why I ordered 2x Medium & 2x Large as didn't want to get too little and wasn't bothered if I got too much.
