Well i've had a few people say its a "peru flower" ray (note, nothing to do with true flower rays P.shroderi), which would fit as it looks very similar to pictures of Marks P40 "chocolate flower" ray when it was the same sort of size. Some people seem to think is a motoro varient though i'm not convinced myself, i've had a few motoro's and they were quite different, motoros just look more formidable with fat chunky spines and this little guy is delicate looking.

Time will tell, in 6 months the markings should look quite different and we'll see what the adut ray will look like.
 
Fantastic!! :drool: If only I had the heart to get rid of my lovely little fish and get one huge tank for a ray :p I really need to get a bigger house!
 
CFC, id say Potamotrygon castexi personally or some kind of a varient, the yellow spots and dark background make me think that...Allthough it could change and be something compleatly differant.
 
i have given up trying to ID brown rays its to hard

i will just stick to IDing black rays it much easyer :lol:
