thanks guys, he is doing really well only been a few hours but he has grouped them up together now, the female basically collected all the eggs, i use her for first time males as she is a great fish. he got the message eventually and is looking after them , she did give him a hard boot when he ate a load of them. only got 4 females that are good breeders so im making the most of them whilst i can. 2 of these females condition in 3 days and produce a large amount of eggs the other 2 take upto 10 days to condition but tend to spawn quicker but give less eggs.

they should come out very similar to the parents in colour but not in pattern, if he has cambo in his history then there is a possible of some marbles in the fry but not many as most will be cambo i would expect, who knows it never happens as we wish anyway

ive got fry and even though he was really thick when spawning he is doing a great job now, it took him a while to realize that the fry on the bottom of the tank were suppose to be in the nest but he finally went and got them after a few hours
