My 215 litre tank, now set up again after selling VERY large gourami and oscar, has been running with existing filters and semi-cleaned gravel, for about 2 weeks.
I have put 8 rummy nose tetras in to see how they manage.
All levels when tested were nil.
Hoping to transfer 3 4inch discus in soon.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers.

What advice are you looking for?

Did you leave the filters running in the tank with no fish or added ammonia for the two weeks after your gourami and oscar were sold? If so, the reason you got 0 readings is because without a food source (ammonia) most if not all of your beneficial bacteria has died off. So, in essence you'll be doing a fish in cycle with the tetras. If that is the case, you'll want the cycle to complete before adding anymore fish. Here's a link on fish-in cycling.
