New Sae!

So I brought home a new Siamese Algae Eater to join the family! He's a little guy at only about 1.5" or so. Funny thing is, he was labeled as a Flying Fox on the tank. Fortunately, I did my research. They did have some Flying Foxes with them, but I was able to tell the difference and also verified it wasn't the False Siamese or the dreaded Chinese Algae Eater. He's very shy unlike the rest of my fish. It's funny cause once the fish discover him, they just stare. My female betta "hovered" in one spot just looking at him for about 30 seconds before she swam away. He hasn't really started on the algae just yet, but I'm sure he'll get there. I'm so happy to finally own of these!! I had them order me an Amano Shrimp too. Here is a pic of my SAE.

I know he's young but he looks oddly shaped, i have 5 and three i bought new from the shop and none of the smaller ones looked that perculiar. Maybe he's just abit under fed. They are social fish and are therefor recommended be kept in a group of atleast 3 i'd say. Keeping two you might get a bit of bickering between the them. The 5 i have are going into a 61G and they shoal together, working to go around the tank nibbling algae. They are consuming my BBA at an alarming rate, i'm quite surprised. They are very stunning fish, especially as they mature and get a bit more rounded
