What is the last picture Peter?

thats a pic of my female Anomalochromis "thomasi" or also known as the butterfly cichlid ... very nice little west african dwarf cichlid .... very skittish though and not very often seen .... but would reccomend them to anyone .... got few vids of them on my youtube if you want the link ?

New to the site too, i hoping to gain more knowledge of fish keeping and any tips and advice..

im sure your get what your looking for pal there seems to be alot of members in here with lots to share ..... and im always willing to help out where ever possible thats why i started back up the chesterfield aquarist society .... and its getting there slowly lol

yes yours arn't in breeding colours ... they will go like mine once in breeding condition .... unless you have 2 males lol but nether the less nice pair you have there
 
then they should go the same colours as mine if breeding pair ... its very rare if they dont as ive had untold breeding pairs of thomasi .... hmmmm
 
Cockatoo Apistogramma's i believe?! :) Apistogramma Cacatuoides Tripple Red to give it the proper name :lol:
 
Welcome. Great to see a well seasoned hobbyist joining!

bit of an understatement lol .... but yes i agree lol but glad to be here as i see there is alot of members on here ... which is always a good thing as lots of different opinions
