FIsh inside are ,

2 tiger barbs
2 neon tetras
2 red eye terra
silver dollar
dwarf gourami
and a plecostomus

Im gonna let them settle into there new surroundings as they are mega shy, then i wouldnt mind doing abit of aquascapin :D

As a bonus though i work in a pet suppliers warehouse so can most things cheap or free :)

Any tips on what fish i can put in with them? i heard tiger barbs are meant to be a bit boisterous but they seem fine so far

Many thanks
Marc:D

Remove Tiger Barbs, boost Tetra shoals to 6+, remove silver dollars or get more (Shoaling fish, 6+ is ideal)

Welcome to the forum!

Sam

Edit: Sorry, you could boost the Tiger Barb shoals up to 6+ too, but they limit you on what other fish you can keep with it, as anything slow moving or long finned will get nipped. I read that the bigger the shoal, the less you have these problems (They are too busy fighting amongst themselves to attack anyone else!)

I personally would leave out Tiger Barbs, they can work but it's risky.

Edit 2: Silver Dollars eat plants so if you want live plants, remove them!

Sorry, Sam

Forgot about them. Silver dollars get 6 inches around. They are hyper active too. I agree with Sam and would remove them and the barbs.

Good morning and welcome to the forum! :good: I'd have to agree with everyone else. If you want a peaceful community tank the the tiger barbs and silver dollars have to go. If you want a little more action, you could keep them and get other suitable tankmates for them.
