New Male :)

That male is gorgeous! Love him! Do females absolutely have to be in a separate tank to males? I'd love a female.

Some people have managed to keep a male with females, but they're in the minority, most times trying to keep a male with females it ends up with dead fish

Oh that's not good at all. Oh well. Maybe if I had more space I would get another little tank. Not just now though.
Thanks for the info :good:

I don't recommend putting males in with females
Although ppl have successfully done it but I think it's rare to find males like that

And no i didn't send you any thing I think it was just a friends request fishmad

My male is quite placid, very laid back. He swims about minding his own business. I have only ever seen him flare up once and that's because one of the cories was on his anubias lol. The danios zip about him really fast and he doesn't bother with them but I don't want anything to encourage him to be aggressive.
I will maybe in the near future set up another tank for females :) I would love some.

I have four in my 15 and their always begging to be pet
Awww that's so adorable! I hate putting my hands in the tank and he comes upto my hand and I get a fright haha!
He's very strong when he takes peas from my hand, and I get a fright and drop it
