Needless to say I am a happy bunny :hyper: :hyper:

Very nice loaches, one big shoal shot? I used to have both clown loaches and blue loaches in my tanks aswel as other loaches.

What tank size are they in?

:good:

can we see them all together in one pic :) i loved clown loach until i had several ich outbreaks with them

Very nice. I love the B. Modesta. Do you plan on getting some more? If so, let me know how they get along with the clowns. Im getting ready to get a 125 gallon tank for my clowns and I want to get some B. Modesta for that tank too.

The Modesta has been with the 4 clowns I got it with since they were all about 1" long and it certainly seems happy at the moment with the rest of the group. I have been told that it may get grumpy as it gets old and it should be with other modesta's, the only problem is Ive also been told that a group of modesta's shouldnt be kept with a group of clowns so I think I will see how he goes for now and if he gets a bit grumpy with the clowns I will let him go to someone who has a group of modesta's.

12 clowns would be ace.

my 5 look pretty cool but id love 12!

It sure is a nice sight :D

Yeah, I read where you were talking about the B. Modesta on another website. Looks like I gotta stay away from those, because Im going to increase the amount of clowns when I move the ones I have now to the bigger tank.

Have you gotten any new pictures of your B. sidthimunki?

No new pics of the Sid's yet, Ive been to busy with my new fish :D

The Modesta has taken up residence in a terracotta pot and seems very happy swimming around with the clowns, there is no sign of any aggression or even grumpiness on the modesta's part so its so far so good.

I am hoping that with the Modesta only ever been with Clowns it just see's itself as a Clown sort of thing, I once got 4 Tiger Botias and a Sidthimunki and even when the Tigers got to 7" the Sid was only 2" but would always stay with the Tigers. I even moved it into another tank containing Sid's and it was really aggressive towards them until I moved it back in with the Tigers and it was fine.
