Hello everyone. As you can tell, I'm new to this forum.

I am a betta keeper and am getting into breeding now. I currently have 8 bettas.
Hannibal - Blue and red combtail. He lives in a 3.5 gallon heated and filtered tank. Purple gravel, barrel hiding decoration, 1 anubias plant.
10 gallon with blue gravel tank divided in 3 for my 3 HM boys:
Leonidas - Black dragon HM. Blows big thick bubble nests among his floating anubias plant all the time.
Egil - Red dragon HM. Lovely form. Has now started blowing small bubble nests among his fake red feathery plant.
Odin - Black dragon HM. His dragon scaling has covered his eyes slightly which gives him a bit of impaired vision.
10 gallon with black gravel sorority:
Freydis - Black dragon HM. Queen of the tank. A bit larger than her sisters. Is currently eggy.
Lolth - Copper marble dragon HM. Was the largest of the 3 sister when I bought them. Likes to lurk in a barrel decoration.
Eva - Black marble dragon HM. Smallest of my girls. Was a black dragon when I bought her but has now marbled.
And my newest addition - dragon that is platinum white, blue, and purple. Unsure of sex and type.

I'm unsure how to post in the betta forum... I don't have my pictures up on an image hosting site. I've only put them on facebook and another forum for the moment.

I love my bettas. Each one has their own personality.
Like Hannibal... He earned that name. We bought him for my daughter and so far he has bitten me over 10 times. Not little nips at feeding time either. Once, he grabbed my finger and shook like he was trying to take a bite out of it. Was very shocking to me. Hadn't expected it.
Eva zips about. Grabs air like a dolphin, skipping along the surface grabbing more than one breath.

Your fish sound like they have great personalities by the way

welcome to the forum. Even though I don't keep bettas, a lot of people on here are obsessed with them. Bettas are cool, since theirs so many different ones.

My newest betta has no name as of yet. Got a surprise when I bought him as I thought I was getting a new dragon female to add to my stock and sorority. I've had 2 breeders tell me that I picked up for $10 is a dragon male plakat. As the stock I already have are dragon halfmoons that carry the plakat gene, I think he was a nice find.

I've finally settled on a name for him: Gwynfor.
Name from a series that I read. One of my favorite characters. I think it fits my stunning new boy. He even flared today at my Eva. Stunning.
