New Gourami Confusion

Hey all,

i was just wondering if some one could help me. i've had an opalin gourami for quite a while and he's been pretty settled, until i introduced two gold gouramis. the opalin keeps chasing and tagging them is it possible for them to breed??

They are the same species. They are also highly territorial which could be a problem if you have two males there.
