Heya - I've been in your position - bought fish and not had a cycled tank - I strongly recommend taking the fish back - the water changes alone will be time consuming and the fish will dislike the fluctuating chemical levels - it's the kindest thing to do - I did the same and know I couldn't have beared having fish suffer.
P.S - a fishless cycle will be a lot less hassle in the long run - tedious waiting for it to finish but ultimately your new fish will benefit.
