ok after owning my 4.5 UKG tank for like 3weeks i thought its about time that i got anew tank to boost the size of fish allowed

saved up the money/colected the money and was all set and then my mum drops a bomb shell on me i cnat have it till after my GCSE's and they dont start for another 3months and will go on for about a month :/ :X
so i need some reasons to convince her let me buy it (note i have the money all ready)

so far ive got
1) the number of fish i have are too low for their favored sizes i.e. i need like 3 more corys
2) 'you always say that more fish would be better...'
3) a larger tank is easier to control the chemical balance i.e. the ph wont flutuat (sp)

so any ideas?

i have the exact same problem,"not allowed it till after your GCSE'S" but i think ive done it lol :p
im having it in the next couple of days :D I HOPE :/

just wanted to say that i took APPLIED SCIENCE and got a C, :hyper: grade because i done the exam about 2 months ago, but i gotta chance to get an A or B

just another 7 exams to do

that was my reason for having the tank early because i have 1 GCSE :D

justs say that u will work your ass off, do anything your mum asks you to do and ask her when she isnt in a mood lol, it worked for me

sorry for got you k17sty, i dunno why really 'i may get destracted' and guppy she dont beleive me im such a slacker at revising but am only failing one sub the rest are b+ (and two c's)

Speaking as a mum (my son is 24 ) I suggest you crack down with your work & suggest you have the tank now to help your fish survive & you won't have ANY more fish until after your exams......but just think how relaxing the fish can be while you are revising

:*) hehe forgot about mums being on here, i wasn't planning any other fish for quite i while

the main reason is just size because i dont know how well they would cope for 4 months (ish)
seeing as ive been told that id have trouble after 6 and the sooner the better

Well I'm a Mum, my youngest son is also doing his GCSE's this summer. Tell you mum it will stress you to be worrying about your fish when you could be using all that energy to revise. :) Or you could try my son's standard line 'I could be on the street corner up to all sorts - all I want is a ...(whatever - usually something fairly harmless)' How can I refuse?
