New Fish

Just bought a sucker fish but don't know the name I cannot post a pic just yet because my cameras not working, it is about 3" long it's a black couler with yellow/gold pattern on it??

Congrats on your new fish!

As a general heads up, it's a good idea to know exactly what a fish is before buying it. Many fish grow very large and/or have quite specific needs and you don't want to set yourself up for trouble later down the line.

I saw in it a tank full of red fin sharks an didn't look confatiable to I had to bring it to a good home lol

An no its more of a bristle noes shape

So is it a plec of some kind? They're pretty distinctive. shame you can't get a photo.

Yup I think it's a Pleco just looked on google and it looks pritty much the same

Now to narrow it down to which if the many kinds!

Another possibility is a hillstream loach of some description.
