New Fish!

I did some digging about, and asked over on PC if anyone had seen the Ageneiosus sp. 'Blue' in Peir, and it was said that they had and they looked very much like Ageneiosus sp. 3, as I originally suspected. I think it's going to be tough to be 100% sure without better pictures, but know they can be difficult to catch on film. If they are indeed sp.3, I'd definitely recommend you get a couple more.
As I said, I can only go on the images so far, and what others say who have been there and seen the fish for sale.

Thanks for that Martin! That does look nearly right but mine is even darker - when I find my camera charger I will get some high quality pictures. Overnight he has developed a bit of a cloudy eye going to keep an eye on it..... bit worried though as I suspect the geos might have a bit of white spot as well

Water change tonight and higher temperatures me thinks. Ill have to do a low dosage medication cycle as this new catfish is scale less so would suffer from meds like clown loaches....

Looks like kizno1 may have been right. Apparently, and although all males, the fish at Peir are Ageneiosus cf. atronasus, or something very close. It is, apparently the shape of the head that is the main difference between this and sp. 3. Take a look at the planet catfish page for the above fish and picture 7 is apparently might be a good likeness of your fish.

Thanks for digging round for me Martin :) I have had a look through the cf. Atronasus and they do look like mine but not an exact match - I am hoping they will be of a similar adult size :)

Thanks for all the comments guys :)

Really nice fish you got Wills, especially those Rosy Loaches. I few weeks ago, I got a sneaky Rosy Loach female by accident when I bought some Pygmy Striped Loaches. Thinking of adding more, especially after seeing your ones. If you don't mind me asking, how much were they?

Hi yeah I got the last 6 for £12 so £2 each which is a bit of a steal really but I did spend a hefty amount on other fish as well haha!

I bet you did spend a lot, especially on those lovely Geos. The Rosys were a bit of a steal, I paid £2.50 for mine, but I love them so much :D
