Hey guys,

I'm running a 60L tank which currently contains 6 cories, 6 cardinal tetra, 1 male dwarf gourami and 2 guppies, plus assorted inverts. I started off with 7 guppies which I know probably made me overstocked, but I felt the fish were comfortable and I was and still am doing very large water changes once a week so I dont feel my water quality is suffering.

I've not replaced the guppies as I dont find them very interesting, and it has always been my plan to replace them with something else when they all go. I lost one today (which I've been expecting to go for ages if I'm honest) and now I'm down to 2, I'm getting to the point where I'm considering what else to get.

The gourami and the guppies were both bought on suggestions from other forum members, as I dont fall in love with fish in the fish shop, but if someone suggests something to me and I research it, then go see it in person the magic happens.

So yeah, suggestions?

So you want more fish? What kind of cories do you have?

Personally, I think that your tank has enough fish. Why get more fish, it's only going to make the tank even worse; just like having guppies in it, it'll still be overstocked if you add more fish. What makes the difference between more fish or just keeping it how it is? It's only a 60 liter, not that much: approximately 15 US Gallons. I wouldn't get anymore fish, to tell the truth. Getting more is only going to overstock it. :)
