If you have no scaless fish in the tank you could add some salt for now, as parasites hate salt.

How much salt should be added, all I have is Table Salt. I don't want to make it worse. It's been mentioned that copper can help, would dropping a few pennys into the tank help?

I would sterilise it first, that should be ok.

I'll stick some in tomorrow. I can't do much at the moment given the time. I think there is some copper pipe in the garage. I'll buy some meds for the tank monday. I hope the fancy males survive that long. The two females that have died were from a different tank to the rest of my fish so I might be ok for now.

If the males are bad you could give them a salt bath.

Only one of them is worrying me alot at the moment. He is darting against the walls of the tank. The other two are just flaring and flicking every once in a while. The younger two I think are very ill already. I've turned off the light to calm them for tonight.

Ok, just might of relieved them for abit as salt baths are good for parsites like whitepsot as well, as if there gills are sore a salt bath would of made them feel abit better.

It's a pretty daunting task, I don't want to upset them more. If they are worse tomorrow I will give them all a bath. Hopefully the LFS will give me a discount on the treatment since it's their fault (I can't imagion a brand new cycled tank having parasites).

Good luck hope they pull through.

try using salt water for a while, see what happens, whever I got new angelfish, they would always die, so I don't buy them anymore. I don't know, maybe the angelfish didn't like my decorating, and maybe they dont like yours.

could it be of old age?
