Afternoon all!
Just a quick bit of advice seeking here...
I have just ordered the All Pond Solutions 1000EF* for my 200L tank.
Im currently using an annoying Fluval 3+ internal filter.
When installing the new fresh bacteria free filter, should I keep the current filter in there and run both filters for a few weeks so the new filter develops its own bacteria? Or put the media from the old filter into the new filter?
Many thanks in advanced guys!
*By the way... APS are having a sale! 15% off anything on their site this Oct! And the EF and EF+ filter range has £10 off on top!
I managed to get the 1000EF for around £42 which is a complete steal (I know there not big brand filters but everyone raves about them!)
