new concept in aquariums

i could see them trying to hick you with extra cost for a special cleaning tube/ system, other then that it looks awesome. i expect that it is engineered to hold the weight and not tip to one side.

How does the deep part get filtered?
i'm guessing there won't be much water movement there, unless a massive airstone and air pump are setup there to create movement...

I saw these on Ebay, with a Buy It Now price (no auction) of about £2,500.
ok now it doesn't look so cool!!, the way i looked at it was as though half of the cabinet had been extended, thus not actually losing space but gaining it, i dunno though, i find it difficult seeing to the bottom of a 27" ish tank!!

am i the only one wondering how the fish would do in there - not very practical for our plecs :)

where would the mid swimmers swim? middle on the top bit or middle of the long bit :S

there are some cool setups on that link wolf.

A T shape tank would be quite smart, then the weight thing would be sorted

Don't no if i like them tanks or not, can't make my mind up, they are expensive though.

Welll i dunno about you guys but i would rather spend £2700's on a 300gallon tank and equipment than that puny little setup. When it comes down to it you're not exactly getting alot for your money; maybe if it was cheaper it would be more considerable but for what you get the price tag puts it right out of my shopping list straight away...

£2700 - no way - i'd rather build the 8footer I have plans for - 8x3x3 plywood tank and turn my garage into a fish room - could do all of that for £3k.
Seem they are charging for th fact its unusual and they'll get a fair few sales as well from people who have more money than sense .
Now i know i said i liked them and i do if they were around 500-700 quid but 2700 is a little much for not much tank
