I recently noticed my LFS has started selling 3D printed accessories, aquarium equipment, feeders, etc. I myself have 3D printed lid clips + plant holders on my tanks but never thought of using 3D print for anything more than that. I'd never thought of its usefulness in aquariums before. What sort of 3D printed stuff have you made or seen for sale for aquarium use? Etsy and eBay also seem to full of listings for prints

I was given a UV light that was lacking a key connection. I eventually found my old 1 of the same size. So, I think I could 3D print the missing piece. My local library offers 3D printing, but I don't know the details like costs.,,& I found mine that works.

I was given a corner plant shelf by a clubber made using 3D printing but I haven't actually used it yet. It's very white, but better than the other very colorful options (neon pink!?, no thanks, lol).

Maybe for filter parts or light boosting legs?

I'm not sure what it would be useful for but it's a cool idea

For the Flex I have a printed lid cover and inlet filter covers. When I first got the tank I had to send a design to a printer but now readily available on all the usual sites

These are flow brakes for my HOB's. They are supposed to reduce surface agitation, I got them in n attempt to keep floating plants. Purchased on Etsy.

I've seen. Baffles to control water flow at the return of HOBs. Water input covers. Emergent plant racks. Diffusers for canisters. Baskets, Covers, knobs...

Go on this site https://www.yeggi.com/

And search for "Aquaclear" more than 50 accessories are availlable, there's more than 500 for the fluval FX6 alone.

I like to build models too and guys print parts for old kits and their own parts for scratch built projects . Pretty common anymore . What’s a ball park figure for a 3D printer setup ?

I've also seen attachments for HOBs that turn the intake into a skimmer.
