New Catfish Addition

Ok so i have a 90 gallon planted set-up with these fish already settled into the tank
x1 golden gourami
x1 kissing gourami (8 maybe 9 inches)
x2 firemouth cichlids
x2 blue acara cichlids
x1 rope fish
x1 angel fish (small)

my question is, would 3 pictus catfish work well in the tank as my clean up crew?

Never really looked upon pictus as cleanup crew. Thankfully you dont have neons cos they can certainly clean them up !!! And they like to be in groups so the more the merrier. 3 would be a minimum

Pim Pictus or Raphael Catfish work great as clean up crew in a cichlid tank.

I see pictus as a main tank fish in its own right and Id be temoted to get 4 or 5 and make them the focal point something Ive wanted to do for years and that would mean cutting the numbers on thie other planned fish for the tank
