Ok, so as some of you may know, I got a new camera this weekend. It's a Kodak Easy Share DX7630 6.1 megapixel...and to tell you all the truth...I hate it. I miss my Canon A80...it took such excellent pictures almost all the time. With the Kodak, I have to get lucky and hope the fish isn't moving at all or the whole shot is screwed. :/

But I was able to get some good pictures out of it, and I must say that when it takes a picture it really takes a good picture. :D

We will start off this little adventure with my brand new 10 gallon. I just got this one set up a few days ago, and it's not completely finished yet...it's close, but not quite. ;) No clue what to put in it though. But I do know one thing...no more livebearers!!! I'm being overrun as it is. :p So anyone got any suggestions for this little guy?

Next up, are my new Swordtails.

This is the pretty black male:

And this is my gorgeous yellow/orange female swimming with her friends. :p (she's the one in the middle by the way. ;) )

These are my new Sword fry. My lfs gave them to me for free. So cute! They are currently living with my nicest betta, Cyrus.

I got some new cory cats too, so I got a few pictures of them to share as well.

This is my baby C. leucomelas.

And this is a group shot of my baby C. leucomelas, my C. lamberti, and one of my new Bronze corys. Without flash:

And with flash:

And finally, my Angel. I had three, but two of them died. :-( This little guy is going strong though, and loves to play with my new betta, Shamus (who will get his own thread. :p )

With a Zebra danio and a Silvertip:

Beautiful photos!! You've got some great livebearers, and your cories are adorable. For the 10 gallon I'd suggest maybe a combo or something of these: small gouramis (dwarf, sparkling, croaking), cherry barbs, danios (lots of possibilities here!), and maybe some cories if you wanted more. Or you could have some small cichlids like a pair of rams. If you're curious what I have in my 10 or 6, check my info.

Thanks so much Julie! You actually made me blush with your wonderful comments. :*)

I would go with some small Gourami's, but when I get my 55 set up, it's going to have several different kinds of them, and I don't wanna over do it with the little guys. I was thinking a pair of rams would be nice. At my lfs, they have Ruby Clowns (which I believe is another name for Bolivian Rams if I'm not mistaken) and I really like those guys. And one can never have too many corys. :fun: Maybe I'll get some of the albino ones...they are so cute.

Thanks for the suggestions Julie!

 They're all so CUTE Arashi! The little orange fry looks exactly like my 3 month old marigold swordtail, Peggy Sue! I love the colors on your angel!

Is the orange female in the 3rd pic supposed to be a Marigold swordtail?

Thanks Sasha! Do you have any pics of Peggy Sue? She sounds cute!

I'm not sure if she's a marigold...I'm not good with colors of livebearers...but she sure looks like a pretty little marigold. :*)

Your angel is beautiful Arashi.

You've only had the camera a couple days and your already taking great pics

As for your 10g, I think it has "pair of killies" written all over it.

:hyper: OH YEAH!!!!! I completely forgot about Killifish! I've wanted some for sooo long it's not even funny! Do you think I could get away with one male and two females in there?

Thank you so much for the suggestion cometcattle! I think we've got ourselves a winner! :p Killis it is! :kana:

nibbles I love my Silvertips. I have three in there and they are just awesome fish. Absolutely beautiful and they have such crazy personalities.

Do you have any Silvertips?
