Discus with a small Pleco and maybe some Large Tetras!

Something like

Red-eyes - Moenkhausia sanctaefilomenae
Buenos Aires - Hemigrammus caudovittatus
Black Neon - Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi
Emperor - Nematobrycon palmeri
Diamond - Moenkhausia pittieri

Red eyed tetra's have to be my least favourite fish. Nasty evil fin nipping bullies!!

I have both an oscar and Discus. I'd have a hard time choosing between the 2. The oscar is like having another dog. Very distinct personality and very outgoing. Plus Oscars are very fast growing and look impressive when they are grown. I like my Discus but they have been a lot trickier than the oscar. Very picky eaters although mine aren't shy at all. The colors on the Discus are awesome! I'm sure that was no help. If I had to pick one over the other I honestly don't know what I'd do!

Its all a help! Opinions are what i want and especially from people who have had/have both types

The other bonus with an oscar is it will be considerably cheaper set up wise I guess. I've seen an oscar I like, and the juvinile's are just £11. So an inexpensive fish, not much to spend on the tank as they will rip up/destroy stuff anyway!

had both & prefer discus...lol I have enough, so I suppose I must.

PM me before you buy if you go discus...& I'll see is I can find a specialist in your area, avoid certain garden centers LOL
