Hi all,
After having my current 100l set up for a couple of year now, I thought that it was time of an upgrade!!Just go back from maidenhead aquatics and ordered a stunning 300l AquaOak aquarium - very very pleased and this will for a nicely planted, natural looking community tank in our home.
I have also gone through everything else and have come up with the shopping list below. Please have a look and let me know what you think of my list and if there is anything I should change/add...
300l 5' AquaOak aquarium
3 x ultima 1500 led tiles (grobeam)
8 channel controller
Interpret blue moonlights (thinking for an hour before and hour after main lights come on)
2 x 200 rena smart heaters
2 x Aquamamta efx1000u
Substrate
Same as what I use now, 30kg of sansibar black sand with a layer of plant substrate between two layers of sand.
Please do let me know what you think - I want the right set up from day 1 and so want to make sure I'm not missing anything. The biggest question I have surrounds the filter more than anything else as aquamanta aren't a brand that I have heard much about. The tank will be here at some point next week and so I am keen to get the other bits and pieces together so that I can make a start next weekend.
Thanks
