Finally got around to taking some pictures, and the batteries lasted for about 2 minutes.

So here is a quick teaser pic...

Excuse the cloudy water, it's the d@mn play sand that i said i was never going to use again...

Love that tank! That was the exact tank I was going to get untill I seen a Trigon :p.

Whats the plans for it? Needs a lot of plants and wood, will look great ;)

Plants are on hold until i have done research on my impulse buy and plants...

As for plans... Just put my new wallpaper background on courtesy of B&Q. Tank seems to have cleared alot more today, so hopefully by the end of the week it will be crystal clear. May do another 20% waterchange tonight to help with the new addition and remove a bit of the cloudyness too. Should hopefully be rocking another 1200 filter by the end of the week too! :D

Need to decide on a final decor and final stocklists. Need some safe dither fish for my new impulse buy. :p

Any suggestions for decor setup would be greatly appreciated. And can you assure me on the litres of the tank by any chance as the previous owner said it was around 270-280 litres, bit i am wondering if it is more 260 like the Fluvals and Juwels 4ft bows.

Pritty sure it's the 260L. I might be wrong though. I would love a tank that big, phooor the plant and redmoor wood expence would be crazy! :p

You going to keep this thread updated? As non of your others ever are!! And you have the cheek to moan at me :shifty:

Haha! I will update my others this week, i promise. Once the female HRP is out of my 35L i will be changing the substrate so will get some pics up. Can't update the 620 thread as i have closed it down. :(

Thanks Mark, it's far from how i want it, but then again i have no idea how i want it. Think i might have to stop being tight and get myself some Redmoor wood. ££££££££ :(

Right, here are a few more pics, still nothing fantastic though. :sly:

Redmoor is SOOOO worth the money, man!

You could always go hunting around the nearest woods? It's possible to find some cracking pieces of wood there.

Of course i don't mind. And yes, the facepaint is very fetching!

Any other suggestions for tank setup?

Yeah, I have contacted her about the 'plants' also need to find some more branches. Had a look at redmoor, holey moley!

That tank is amazingly huge! how much did it cost?

Also I see you stacked some rocks. Do any of you get scared the rocks will collapse and crush your poor fish? I know I do, which is why I never do it. >.<
