New 4ft Tank

Zooplus have the 2080 at 567x330x330mm. Width x depth it fits with a a couple cm to spare sideways.

Height may prove a problem - it comes up to the middle of the cabinet hole. You may need to tilt the filter in order to connect the hose connection tap into the head unit - see top component in the bottom image here.

Ordered mine yesterday, got the same tank but with the style 3 cabinet and in walnut. Havent told the mrs yet but she'll find out when its in the house then she can't do out can't wait for mine to turn up. He said he'd push it through as i paid upfront

Er right a few people have asked about my tank, particularly about the cabinet dimensions and whether the filter fits with enough room, and questions directly about the eheim 2075 so without any planning I've done a mobile phone video. I hope people find it useful!

Nice one, that was interesting to watch. Can I just ask what that device is that you have at the back of the tank, plumbed into the filter inlet/outlet? It's on camera from approx 51 to 57 secs.

EDIT: No worries, I've just worked it out - a Hydor external heater. I'd like one of those...wish they made a more powerful version that would be adequate for the extra water volume in my 5ft tank.

The first fish are in - 10x Tiger Barbs, 6x Peppered Corys and a Gold Severum. Got a few plants too, awaiting stock of lights now from lampspecs. Flicker photo set has been updated.
