New 125 Gallon beginning....

And some ecstatic corys.... 6'x1 1/2' to play with. ;)

Living room for the moment. ;) But this week the 10 and 30 Gallon will be moving to one of the extra bedrooms along with my computer and my Office Desk.

The 29 Gallon is going to my Fathers to have a stand and hood built for my sisters family for Christmas.

The 45 Gallon was partial trade for the 125. He needed a sump for the new 125 he is trying to sell.

And the two 55 Gallons will be gone next weekend. :)

Well, the fixture aquascaping is done, i.e. rocks, driftwood, for the moment. I want some more driftwood but can't afford it right now.

I'm in the middle of my hopefully second to last water change... ;)

Just wanted to say that the Fluval is what I would call a "Power Filter". Notice the water flow? :fun:

I hope that never happens because this is one hell of a tank to move. :(

I finished the planting and I'm doing a water change again now. ;)

It may take one more after this, but it is pretty clear. It didn't help that the gravel vac blew off my python and just started spraying a stream of water straight into the sand.

Well, everyone is in now I just have to wait. Let the corys do there job of cleaning stuff off and sifting the sand to kick up the remaining silt and see how everything looks tomorrow when the water should be crystal clear. :)

I had the tops open to drop the temp a few notches. It had gone up to 80 because I wasn't paying attention to the water temp on filling. :(

Anyone can be jealous, I sure was jealous of all those 6' tanks. :)

I hadn't reinstalled the highlight system since I lost the bottom seal on the other 55G but I decided to tonight.

Here is the result. :)

I thought I should list what I recieved and what I paid:

Stand
125 Gallon with Glass Tops
2 - 2x96W JBJ PCF Lighting Fixtures (10K and Atnic)
Fluval 404 Canister
Ebo-Jager 250W Submersible Heater
Unkown brand/wattage Submersible Heater (150W or 200W)
AquaClear 110 Power Filter (500 U.S. Gal./h)
2 - Aquaclear 901 Power Heads (900 U.S. Gal./h)
Filter Floss
Carbon
Aquaclear Mini - Brand New unopened.
A spare 5 Gallon bucket. :)

Total Cost - $300 minus a $45 trade for a 45G Long I had here so I paid $255 cash. :D

(edit to include forgotten item.)

Well, it is now 99% settled. I'm not so happy with the way the lighting looks and I'm thinking on ways to work on that. I haven't decided if I am going to add a powerhead yet or not, but I have the 2-900GPH. I'm running Triple Filteration right now in order to clear it up copmletely. :)

If things go well I'm hoping to add 2 pair of blue rams to the tank, 3 more otos, 3 clown loaches, and I'm considering a couple more plecs. And I have more cory on the way (they are still growing. :))
