Netbooks

Just want to let others know that I purchased a netbook last December and so far I love mine. It's a Samsung and I researched it out on multiple sites before buying. The more I wanted to pack into a laptop, the more expensive it got. Since most of what I do is email, surfing, forums, etc, it has worked out great. I looked at a few Acers but the Samsung kept getting high ratings. It's light and the keys are big enuf for my paws to type. You DO have to buy a portable DVD drive tho' but they were cheap.

I have a Acer Aspire One (A110), linux version with the SSD.
Simply put, stay away. This thing is junk, the OS is massively restricted, and even if you manage to squeeze something else, like Ubuntu or XP onto it, the speed of the solid state drive is terrible, constantly stalls and stutters.
