How can everything been 0 if you tank is cycled. My tank is planted and I still have NitrAte.

Betta do you realy have a tank, and have you realy teatsed the water cos, something tell's me you telling porky pie.

Please do keep in mind that he is still a child, one that doesn't get help from his parents I might add. He does try to keep his fish in the best condition possible, and like nearly everyone who was once a child, he too makes mistakes.

He posted he was 24 ... and I know better, lets just put it that way. Talking to him on msn makes me know the truth ... and I respect he does not want his real age out in the open. I do however feel people should know he's younger than what he has stated, simply because treating him like an adult on this does not seem fair (and I know many will disagree with me on that).

Nope, I wish that was true =) I'm just saying we should be easy on him. Every human can make mistakes
Now rather than taking this off topic (which would have been my fault, I started it and I'm aware of this) could we go back to what this thread was intended to be about? I won't be posting in this thread anymore, he knows how to contact me =)

also does'nt make them any less able to take advice you continously tell them. It does'nt exscue someone for murdering there fish. If he is not old anothe to take advice or responcablity of his fish, or his perents are not even willing to help, maybe he should not have fish at all.

I do hope his perents, buy his fish for him as it illigal to sell any animal to someone under the age of 16, I also hope they know there child is talking to strangers on the internet, and he is lying about his age.

my Post sound harsh maybe, but if it was my child, I would firstly help them with there tank, and I would also make shore I know who there talking to on the net.

even if he is a 'child' he is still old enough to own tropical fish, to use the internet and to post on this forum, therefore he can't be that young. certainly not too young to be able to comprehend and take on board viable advice given to him by the members of this forum, who are only trying to help him save his fish, and to prevent further stress to his other fish. it's not rocket science!!

Betta's I don't know how old you are and it doesn't matter but please take notice of what people are saying on here! If you do then your fish should be healthy and you will enjoy it a lot more!

You need to give the neons time to settle into their new aquarium so I wouldn't worry too much for now
