Nelly's Update With The Channa-ornatipinnis

Stunning fish Nelly!
Only trouble is, I want another tank now with Snakeheads....

hehe.......i never thought of buying them it was just a fluke.....a friend on another forum was looking at selling or swapping 3 of these for a central american cichlid<brutis my male jag was central enough for him :hyper: these are great fish and good for electric bill as no heater needed
thanks

You lucky devil!
I did love your Jag, he was a beautiful fish. Had one in our lfs for months and had to resist the urge to take him home with me. :(

I think the better half would've left me if I came home with another tank!
The Jag we had at work was fantastic although he did have give a nasty bite to one of my colleagues. When it came to cleaning his tank, one of us had to herd him back with a net whilst the other cleaned!
I lost count of the amount of kids who used to get quite a scare from him when they went too near his tank!
Luckily, a chap with a 6ft tank brought him although I have to admit, I do miss him...

hehe sounds like my boy, i had to heard him with a net wilst syphoning on my own,,it was funny,,,if i rushed my arm in he was fine, if i did it slowly he would attack,,,thats what made him so great and his looks
thats why i had to get rid of him, missus said NO MORE TANKS...They just do not understand do they

 You're right, they don't undersatnd!
Luckily, he does love fish but not quite as much as I do. I have told him that I could drag him clothes shopping instead of cleaning my tanks....

ha i have to clean my three tanks then spend the days clothes shopping and i hate shopping with a passion
You poor thing!
Lucky for him, I can't stand clothes shopping, shoe shopping or any type of shopping come to think of it. No wonder he let me have so many tanks!
