Need More Fish....i'm Stuck

right... heres what i'm thinking

4 upside down cats

6 Pandas

12 Harlequins

4 Yoyo's

1 Golden Gourami / or a Betta if i they have a nice colored one (i had a beautiful scarlet red one for 4 days

That sounds sensible as it's better to add a few fish at a time rather than a lot all at once.

While you wait 1-3 weeks for these additions to settle in, you'll have plenty of time to think about your next additions. A single rainbow, or red tail black, shark would make a fine addition later on (preferably the last fish to add).

Just be careful not to crowd the different layers of the tank (bot, mid, high). I'm not too certain where upside down cats prefer to swim.

edit: Some anubias variations have some nice large leaves, just be careful of how you plant them. Amazon sword and java fern might also interest you. They're all easy plants to keep too.

upside down cats stay on the bottom but will go to the surface for food the more you get the more active they will be if you just have one it will hide in the day and come out at night. im getting 2 more monday can wait.

i went to maidenhead aquatics and have updated my fish stock...

I now have

20 Harlequins (16 new)

6 Pandas (3 new)

2 yoyo's

I plan on getting another 2 Panda's and another Betta as they have some beautiful ones in stock now.....


Th Harlequins have just been released and they look so cool when they shoal....


Also got a cave/rock ceramic thing and some more plants ... will post pix asap

yeah you could fit alot in that 60 gallon just go to the lfs and choose the fish that you like and see if its compatible to your existing fish then buy them.just buy what you fancy really.

if you do get a betta just make sure you have a 5g tank set up incase hge isnt that friendly.

i had one last week for 4 days and he got on fine with everything, he just dissapeared one day

Yeh but some of them are less friendly than others. You don't wanna risk getting a moody one that goes in and does nothing but bully your other fish from the word go. Best to have a spare tank just in case he's a rough-un.

yeah i know the score with them.... in the meantime i am very happt with my latest purchases... they also have different pandas, vertical stripe hybrids.. very nice but 14 quid each
