Need Help

Hey guys just need a bit of help choosein right tank mates messed up last time i had smaller fish.
I have a fluval toma 125ltr tank and have just started stocking it after using the tank for fry for last 3 yrs i have give up breeding now and need ideas for tankmates so far i have bought.
2 German rams (breeding pair)
5 Cardinal Tetras
7 Female guppies
1 1.5" Bristle Nose Pleco
4 1" Clown Loach ( TO BE MOVED TO 8'x 3' x 3')
I dont want any of the following Gourami's,Livebearers,corys.
I want the tank to be a show tank with as much clour as i can get in it i also want live plants i have 3 in the tank atm no idea what they are but i want a havely planted tank where the fish will be happy and feel safe.
will live plants mess with water as fake do like stop fitter working properly etc as i had plasic plants and water was always cloudy and clogging filter all the time.

Substrate is dorset gravel. There is no soil in bottom of tank as was told i did not need it

As many ideas as possible that WILL work

perhaps kribensis cichlid?

I guess you could put in another shoal of tetras, though personally, I'd get more Cardinals; they do look stunning in larger groups.
You could probably get another pair of dwarf chiclids; most are only aggressive to others of their own species, kribs or apistogrammas should do ok, even with your rams, just make sure you have enough hiding places and caves spread about for them.

Or how about some Rainbows?

Real plants won't mess with your water; there are some that have bits break off and clog your filter; the ones to avoid for that are Indian Fern and Java Fern. I always recommend buying a collection of plants online; some of them won't do so well, but the ones that do will spread like mad and it's much easier (and cheaper!) than trawling through loads of different types.

I don't have soil in my tanks and the plants do fine.
