Hi, I will be introducing south american breeds of fish to my tank in the future and I am looking for a peaceful large fish. I am having alot of difficulty finding a suitable fish. I am not keen on angels or discus and could use some advice. These fish need to be friendly and compliment my:

Cardinal Tetras
Apistogrammas
Bolivian Rams

My tank size is 134g
Also this will be a heavily planted tank so I need a variety of fish which does not eat or uproot my plants :)

Thanks guys!

they may eat the tetras and obviously I donp;t know the size of your tank but you could look into Uarus. Gorgeous fish and in my experience quite peaceful as well

I think keyhole and rainbow cichlids are your best choice. Need at least 2ft, 80 litre for one.

Agreed. Keyhold are the best I have one and he is my favourite his tank mate is a Bolivian ram and they get along great. My keyhole (Carl) is 4.5 inches long and full grown. He is the best. Only thing is Carl loves to dig. He has not up rooted any of my plants but has come close.

Rainbows are nice fish not too big and are peaceful. Depending on the size tank you might only want 2 cichlids.

other good picks would be. Apistogramma , "Brazilian Festivum", "Smiling Acara", Flag cichlid, dwarf flag,
