A pair of Apistogramma borelli just arrived from The Wet Spot. I placed them in my new quarantine tank. After the coast to coast journey their colors are dulled. But that will improve. The pair are spunky despite the long trip.

Yessssss borelli!!! Great choice

Excellent . Never have kept any Apistogramma species but I’ve always loved their looks , especially the dorsal fin . The prominent dorsal fin and the extended rays look nice on them .

One of my favorite Dwarf Cichlids along with nannacara anomala ...maybe time to get a couple!

I really prefer nannacara anomala but they do get a lot larger. I haven't seen wild caught n. anomala in years. Oh well one of these days .... but ya gotta be careful with them as the females do bite from time to time.
