No I use Bicarbonate of Soda(39p a tub) and Epsom Salts(£1.49 a bag) in conjunction with the CF malawi buffer recipe, my Tap water is about 7PH 4GH 4KH I buffer it to 8.3PH 17GH 18 KH ish and seems fine and I`ve kept it pretty close to that I also add Kent Cichlid essentials.

i have messaged a couple of companies to see if they can order in all three products in large (and cheaper) amounts.-if i can get 1.4 kg of each for £20 (£60 total)they should last ages and will be worth buying imo. if they cant ill go for the home make method.

cool, ive read other reviews on another forum about seachem product and there all very good- is why im wanting it
