Nano Tank Update

Well i ripped my nano tank i posted up here a few days ago which you can see here:

Ive now changed the tank around and here is the new look:

Just going to get some fast growers for the back most probably eloda densa.

Any thoughts welcomed!

Good Looking. You used the same sand I use, how much did it cost you. I usually get it for 1.50 for a 2 kilo bag.

Paid £2.20 per bag. Not sure how much is in each bag as it dont say on it. Here is the stuff im using:

Seemed very good value compared to other sand available to me. Didnt need too much washing either so will use it again for other tank creations.

Just need to finish it off with some background plants and maybe some bogwood but il decide on that once all plants are in place.

PS: Its your tanks that have inspired me to go for the look im going to try and achieve. I like the darker looking tanks so im trying to make one of my own

The Wifes on Holiday supervising the Villa Build till April So I can get away with some more tanks in my room.

Sand is wicked. Where abouts did you get it? Taunton? Im trying to make out what it says on the label lol but cant.

Yeh it did come from Taunton. Not a aquatics store though. Ever heard of Chaplins down Bindon Road. Popped in there for a photo frame and came across it and had to pick some up (they have a very tiny aquatic bit just full of food and other bits no fish though).

I just go with what i feel liek on the day. Although i had a few ideas how i want the tank. I know exaclty what i need now to complete the tank so basically trial and error.
