Nano Tank Update

Looking good there mate.
Sand is wicked. Where abouts did you get it? Taunton? Im trying to make out what it says on the label lol but cant.

Yeh it did come from Taunton. Not a aquatics store though. Ever heard of Chaplins down Bindon Road. Popped in there for a photo frame and came across it and had to pick some up :) (they have a very tiny aquatic bit just full of food and other bits no fish though).

Thanks a million
Looks like Im going to have to pay that place a visit.

I wudnt unless you want some sand. Basically the only thing thats worth buying. If you ever wanted i can pick some up on my next visit and post it to you. As that could well work out cheaper for you. :)

All i want is the sand yeah. Long way for sand.

Really?! Wow, that would help out so much. Thanks. Ill send you a PM :good:

Brilliant nano! Couple of questions for you, do you just use sand on its own, no laterite or anything of the sort? What ferts do you use? And finally what wattage is your light? as for inhabitants what about some shrimps or dwarf rasboras?
Thanks alot, Callum

Thanks! Sand on its own is what im using shouldnt really mix laterite with sand imho so i havent. I will be using API leaf zone on the tank as im not making this a high tech nano. Mearly just a small fish tank. Light is the standard 11watt lamp supplied with the Nano hoping to boost this to 22watts soon.

Currently is no inhabitants in the tank. This will come once its completed. However currently i would like a Dwarf Puffer and some Oto's.

Darren
