Mystery Snail Eggs

My "mystery snail" has just laid an egg sac thing on my lighting. Anyone had this happen? Any thing I should do? I got some friends that can't wait to get some free snails.

It's usually best just to let snails be if you actually want more of them
 
Most of us try and get rid of them though, unless they're decent snail like assassin or trumpet ones

I'm mostly going to give them to friends. The rest can join my clean up crew.
