Yes! USA native Sailfin Mollies! The last livebearer native to North Carolina added to my collection! 😁Now I can finally say I've had all of them! Now to buy a few more Least Killifish and I'll have them all!

Congrats...!
No water change needed. The water has colored which is a good thing for them. It means that it's nutricious to them.
Even yellow water in fish tanks is pretty good.

According to Father Fish at least, not sure how true that is.

To be honest, optimal water for most aquarium fish should have some color. It means that the water is alive and contains nutritions for those fish. I do understand why people want water to be clear as possible. But I go for the wellbeing of my fish, so I let the water get some color. And I don't mean that it's dark in my tanks, but for sure it's not a 100% clear water.

Since most of my Sailfin Mollies are fry, and it takes some like 8 months to grow up, I went ahead and brought them inside for the winter. They'll be outside year round next year.

Yes, it does take a fair time investment before they have grown to max size...

And hopefully, those dorsals of those males will develop well...
