I've just tested my tank water, bearing in mind I only started the cycling process yesterday.
And to my surprise I already have a nitrIte reading!
Yesterday I had 4ppm ammonia (didnt test nitrite, felt there was no point)
Today I have 3ppm ammonia and 0.2ppm nitrite.
I was so astonished I even tested my tapwater to see if I had nitrites all along, and it tested 0.
I'm hoping the Stress Zyme might have actually helped, but is there any other explanation?
I added the mopani wood yesterday, but that's it apart from the Stress Zyme.
