My Tnk Has Come :)

so very true LOL.

i have to say that the big tank carms him down loads. he also loves looking in the big tank, seeing all the new things that move. so i can only hope that he will like his tank just as much :)

My 2yr old daughter loves our tanks. She can go to a LFS and point out the different fish. One shop was amazed that she could identify different breeds of fish by name and point to them

I've drunk it and I didn't die! Bolton water too so we're probably on the same main somewhere along.

Tank's coming along a treat Rob :good:

By the by, where did you get your corals from? I'm assuming not THE Bolton LFS which we dare not mention it's name?

mate you are so right that place should be shutt, it is that same place that sold me the none fish safe silicone . total tools :(
no i go up to Oasis in mancherster, i have to say that i have been to most if not all the fish shops in the area and the guys there are great with me, trev the boss is just out of this world . also there is i small shop in leigh that i some times go too, how about your self ?

many thanks on the kind words about the tank too :good:

Glad its not just me feels like that then - there was a fella on here had a real go at them a while ago, trading standards and all that. Not sure what came of it though, probably nothing given the fact they're still at it?

Big fan of Oasis myself too - good LFS that one. (Well done Gallagher bros eh, diversify when you can?)

I also visit Aquascope in Great Harwood - nice corals and inverts there, and Maidenhead Aquatics is worth a visit too, at Wyrevale Garden centre at Bold Heath (just past Ikea on M62)

Pier Aquatics in Wigan was supposed to be building a salty room but don't know if they ever did?

yea the one in wigan is ok but not much in, they told me they had loads of stuff only to find all the tanks empty when i went down, so that put me off abit :( .
i have been up to one at the ribble to very good

I just want to confirm that there is absoloutely nothing wrong with drinking RO water, I do it every day before bed. On the seio's, how big is the tank again? I forgot

ok i have just been looking and they seem to do a speed controler for them tow has any one ever used these, it says it will control two of them and it wil work with the m2600. not that bad on price two. als how do seio compair to the tunze, both seam very well made but the seio are far cheaper. i can get the m2600 for 66.00 each posted and the m1500 for 45.00 ish . tunze prices are well above that :(

Quality wise they're pretty similar. The difference is really in their efficiencies and price as you've noticed. Seio's use more energy per LPH worth of flow than Tunzes yet Tunzes are more expensive than Seios. Over time you recoup the increased initial outlay for a Tunze in electrical bills. Andywg actually knows the wattages, and all those numbers, I dont. He can set you on the straight and narrow as far as the numbers goes.

ok lads back to the smaller tank for the moment, does any one run 55 w PC fixture. i am thinking of running the twin 55w interpet unit with Daylight/bule bulbs (or daylight plus) but i only have 22 inch of space in the hood. would they fit ?. i know that the blubs are 21 inch long and was hopping that the bulb holder would not extrude more than one inch. Coulds someone take some time to see how long there units are  . if they dont fit then i will have to go with the twin 36 watt unit , but for only a couple squind more i would like to use the 55 w , thats if they fit.
